A personalized assistant that consolidates school communications, deadlines, and resources from multiple sources (districts, schools, afterschool programs, even Actionaly’s existing platform) into a single, actionable interface.
From research, we identified clear opportunities for automation and personalization, instead of the “let’s add AI because we can” product direction.
Instead of jumping straight into UI, we mapped real-life behaviors, how personal assistants:

Anticipate needs,
Simplify decisions, and
Handle selective, possible tasks on your behalf.

Priority is consequence, not chronology. A consent form due in two days matters more than a lunchbox reminder due today. The AI needed to reason about stakes — not just schedule.
